"Traces d'infini" : soirées spéciales d'Änandi : Conférence avec le Docteur Yver - Ellaume et Contemplation musicale avec Denis Teste

As part of Änandi’s special “Traces of Infinity” series, the third evening: Experience Sharing and Musical Contemplation with Dr. Constance Yver-Ellaume and Denis Teste.

Experience Sharing & Q&A with Dr. Constance Yver-Ellaume

A positive approach to illness and end-of-life care.

Musical Contemplation

Spontaneous introspection through the Ragas revealed by the sitar, performed by Denis Teste, a renowned French multi-instrumentalist and sitar player.

Dr. Constance Yver-Ellaume

Dr. Constance Yver-Ellaume began her career teaching meditation before turning to medical studies at the age of thirty.

She then became a palliative care physician, driven by a lifelong search for meaning that began in early childhood. From her second year of studies, she chose to dedicate herself to end-of-life care and to supporting patients and their families. She also accompanies those facing questions about human finitude.

Today, she divides her work between a long-term care facility for frail elderly patients and a mobile palliative care team. Her approach is deeply grounded in hands-on medical and human experience, deliberately moving away from purely theoretical or academic discourse.

Through her books, lectures, and workshops, she shares her life and medical experience, drawing on over 30 years of practice in care. Her testimony highlights a human-centered approach to medicine and accompaniment.
